For most of this year, I have simply gotten tired of writing - be it office reports, research papers, even personal organizers and post it notes. I do not know why writing suddenly became such a tiring task. I did not blog because there was nothing to write about. But looking back, this year has actually been an eventful one.
Did I unconsciously opt for the ultimate silence? Have I finally drowned and lost the madness?
I remember F.Scott Fitzgerald's famous line:
"All good writing is like swimming underwater and holding your breath."
Perhaps I should try writing without drowning myself...be it in ink, emotions, or lack thereof.
With this realization, I am changing the blog's title to SETTLING SCORES - a more neutral and reconciliatory tone - from the former title Mad Living. It will still be ala-mad living style, but it's the kind that, hopefully, always settles scores in the end.
